The EFMUI library is the best library to use when you are creating applications which use the MUI system. It covers all aspects of MUI v3.8 and is similar in use to the real library. It is a bit tricky if you have not programmed for MUI before, but there are lots of documentation and examples available. The source for the library is also available. The library has recently been updated and maintained by Rob Hutchinson, who added examples and more commands, updated the documentation, and updated the resident file to support more 3rd party MCCs. If you download the version of the archive on this page, you will not need the update from the MUI section of the archives. (The old versioncan be found as mui38dev-bb2 on Aminet.)

The MethodBB library is also very useful for MUI applications, as well as BOOPSI and Datatypes. It gives the Blitz programmer a few Object Oriented functions that are available to C and ASM programmers in the amiga.lib link library. This library used to be called DoMethodBB library, which is an older version and should not be used anymore.

The reason the library number is listed as n/a is because the MethodBB library is distributed as source code and you must compile it yourself - don't be put off by this, it is as simple as compiling an executable from Blitz and there are full instructions on how to do this.
